Features -
There are two usage modes in Ukulele Dazz, Browse and Search. Browse allows you to look at ukuleles contained in individual collections. If you know of a collection that is interesting to you, you can find it here, or just browse to something, select it and view details of all its contents.
The second mode , Search, allows you to find something in particular. Search by Brand, Maker, Type, and Model. There is also a fun random search called, “Surprise Me!” where Ukulele Dazz will find 10 ukuleles at random from the archives. From there you can Shake it! Shake the phone to see 10 more. You may find something that will surprise you.
Once you find an interesting ukulele, tap its row to see the details. These include the brand, maker, type, style, approximate age, condition, and a Notes section that often adds interesting detail about the condition, build, playability, or history of that uke. Some items include comments from other users. Tap the thumbnail image, or the “Show Photos” button to see a familiar flick-through carousel of images. Scroll through these and tap one to select. It will show by itself in a zoomable window.
That’s Ukulele Dazz. For ukulele lovers, collectors, musicians, and anyone who appreciates fine vintage instruments.
Note: This app connects to a database over the internet, so please be sure you have a wifi connection or a 3G connection. This will work with EDGE, but the performance may disappoint you.
